In many ways, insurance companies strongly influence the way that traditional clinics decide how to provide treatment to their patients which usually results in double booking, unnecessary treatment options and patient care being provided by PTAs or techs. Dr. Katlyn does not believe in these treatment methods and instead believes the best way to help patients is with good quality, one-on-one care that is specific to the patient. This treatment method is possible when we don’t have to bill through insurance.

We provide multiple options for payment of services including accepting HSA/FSA, payment plans to spread out payments over course of treatments, and discounted packages.

A superbill is an itemized receipt that you, the patient ,can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement for what you had to pay upfront (depending on your insurance). We strongly recommend that you call your health insurance provider and ask them about your out-of-network (OON) physical therapy benefits to see how much reimbursement you may be eligible to receive.
-
If you are being seen for physical therapy services and you receive FDN/ART/IASTM, or manual therapy as part of your treatment these modalities may be covered. If you are only receiving these interventions and not receiving formal physical therapy along side them insurance will typically not reimburse for them alone.

All new patients will receive an initial evaluation that helps us determine what your limitations are and what goals you’d like to work on. You will receive an initial evaluation, appropriate treatment related to your condition, and a personalized home exercise program. Typical plan of care (POC) will involve 2 visits per week for the first week or two and then will likely drop down to 1 visit week unless otherwise discussed by you and your PT.
-
Post-surgical patients will receive the same process for the initial evaluation as non-surgical patients. The difference comes with the follow up visits because your surgeon will have a rehab protocol for you to follow that your PT will help guide you through. These post-op protocols will require more visits per week for a longer period of time compared to a non-surgical patient. Due to protocols, we have provided visit packages for purchase to help decrease your cost per visit along with payment plans to help spread out costs over the course of your recovery. If you are curious which visit package would be best for your specific post-op treatment plan, please give us a call and we will discuss a visit package best suited for your recovery process.
